From serving as an airman in the United States Air Force to recently retiring as warden with the Arizona Department of Corrections, Hut Hutson understands what it takes to keep people safe. He will continue working to reduce response times, hire talented personnel, and provide the tools needed so they can be there when we need them the most.

Build Better Parks

Tempe is one of the best places in the country to live, work, and raise a family. Hut Hutson understands that maintaining and upgrading our aging park system is part of what is needed to maintain our quality of life. He will work to make sure that the community is served by essential park upgrades, safety improvements, and expanded amenities.

Ensure Fiscal Responsibility

In these tough economic times, it is essential that money is being spent wisely and our essential city services are taken care of first. Hut Hutson understands that Tempe must continue to spend its money in a fiscally responsible way, and that the money truly belongs to the taxpayers.
